What is authentic? Trying to escape overall consumption and consumerism is hard enough when all we do is look at our phones all day. It’s becoming more difficult to figure out what reviews are real, who is a prop for a business, or how much to believe is true about a situation or a product. More people are turning to influencers with smaller followings because they can provide quality over quantity. People yearn for something real, raw, and true.
