We’re hiring – Social Media Assistant
Ace Studios | Reno, NV (Hybrid/On-site preferred)
Compensation: $18/hr starting pay
Ace Studios is a full-service marketing agency built on story, strategy, and a little creative chaos (the good kind). We’re LGBT/veteran/POC-founded, community-driven, and we do everything under one umbrella: social, web, SEO/SEM, branding, photo, and video.
Now we’re looking for a Social Media Assistant who can help our team bring brands to life online. If you love content calendars and can spot a trending audio from a mile away, keep reading.
What you’ll do (the fun + the real)
Content Creation & Planning
- Write captions that sound human (not corporate).
- Create graphic design assets in Canva (and keep them on-brand).
- Help build and maintain client content calendars.
- Assist with filming and capturing BTS content when needed.
Scheduling & Publishing
- Schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Keep consistent posting rhythms and organized content libraries.
Community Management
- Monitor comments and DMs.
- Engage with followers and help build community (with the right tone).
Analytics & Reporting
- Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth).
- Support monthly/bi-weekly reporting and insights.
Research & Trends
- Track trends, competitor activity, and content opportunities.
- Bring ideas to the table in brainstorms (we love a good “what if we…”).
Support & Coordination
- Help coordinate with our internal team so content aligns with brand strategy.
- Assist with basic admin tasks and project organization as needed.
You’re a great fit if you…
- Have experience with social media content (personal, business, internship, freelance… show us what you’ve got).
- Are confident in writing, editing, and adapting voice across brands.
- Know your way around Canva (and can keep designs clean + elevated).
- Are organized, proactive, and good with deadlines.
- Can take feedback without taking it personally (we’re all here to make great work).
- Love storytelling, not just posting.
Bonus points if you…
- Have worked in an agency environment.
- Can do basic video editing (Reels/TikTok/CapCut/Premiere is a plus).
- Have an eye for photography/videography or enjoy being on set.
- Know how to spot what’s working and why.
The vibe
We work hard, move fast, laugh often, and care deeply about our clients and community. You’ll be supported, challenged, and included. If you’re looking for a place where your ideas actually make it to the feed, you’ll like it here.
